Maria Grazia Chiuri is full of surprises. For Dior‘s Fall 2017/18 collection, she focused on streetwear, sending out 70 blue looks ranging between overalls, jumpsuits and carpenter pants and looks that were much more dreamy and delicate, with flowy gowns and pleated skirts. Many of the utility inspired looks were in a soft, movable denim cut in slightly oversized silhouettes.
Those denim looks were such a refreshing sight to see at the luxury brand’s show, especially when executed so well. Chiuri managed to present an updated look for the modern woman, also thanks to the cross-body bags with J’DIOR straps and hardware studs.
Apart from the looks, the amazing decor also caught our eye. The collection was presented in a room painted with large monochrome brush strokes and lit with cool blue lights. What’s there not to love?
